A little bit about CAP Farms

     CAP Farms was founded in 2002 by current owners Craig & Katie Paulek.  CAP Farms is located near Stonington, Illinois, which is directly in the heart of Christian County.  CAP Farms is currently comprised of approximately 25-30 Boer goats, and 2 trusty dogs.  One could expect to see CAP Farms stock at approximately 5 different fairs annually, including the Christian County Fair and the Illinois State Fair.  The main motivational factor guiding CAP Farms into the future is the continual improvement of the herd, via genetics, so that a premium line of Boer goats can be achieved.  This will allow CAP Farms to more frequently use genetic methods such as artificial insemination as a primary tool in maintaining high herd quality.
